Ocean Child Inn

The Ocean Child Inn is an intimate and friendly local pub that is a favourite eating and drinking destination amongst both locals and visitors alike.

Set in a nautical theme, the OC as locals like to call to it has been operating since 1844 and is one of Australia’s oldest pubs. The OC has a national reputation for great pub meals in the famous OC bistro as well a specially selected list of both local and international beers and wines and of course the friendliest atmosphere in town!

Location, location, location is what the OC is all about! We are 1 minute to the Hobart Shopping precinct and 5 mins to the famous Salamanca and waterfront area. We are also located within close proximity to statewide transport, supermarkets, post office and other Hobart attractions.
